    Re: Critters Chewing Wood

The color choice was walnut...perma chew walnut flavor for all the forest animals. I think I'd be kinda upset if they actually put walnuts in the stain.

Re: In your experience, WORST form of marketing?

yellow pages suck, in my area it's strictly word of mouth. Some guy saw my ad, who told the gardner, who told the maid, who told the guys buddy, who told his wife, who told the customer's wife, who...

    Critters Chewing Wood

I've never encountered this on such a scale. I refinished a small seasonal cabin last year, everything down to bare wood, sand, borate... and for you permachink users-afterblast, ultralifeline2 and...

    Re: Beeswax

I really can't say if beeswax is all that bad. It was a main ingredient in blends used since the beginning of wood building construction thousands of years ago and up until the 70's. I've made up my...

    Re: ~Cedar Deck~

Should be an easy strip - may have to use some bleach as well. You already know easy on the pressure but cedar will fur up if you spit on it so plan to do some buffing.

    Re: Beeswax

I raise bees on the side and wax will melt at a fairly low temp, but I think it would be brutal to try and remove it from the wood. Blasting would be the quicker option.

Does TWP have a moisture requirement for the wood? It's good to know there's some love for it, thanks everyone.
Not really. Just let dry for 24-48 hours after washing is normal.

    Thanks :D
