This is why you have insurance. Just pay the deductible and count it as a cost of doing business. If they replace that piece, then you should ask if you can get the old piece (you are paying for it anyway). It would be nice to keep around as a reminder for you and any employees of what can happen. It was a $500 job so I'm thinking if it's over $1500 I'll turn it in to insurance. I'de pay $500 for the deductible so It would be worth an extra $500 to keep from the chance of my insurance going up. We shall see....
