Bob's Fatboy in action via GoPro

This Southport NC Roof was cleaned just two days before all of the rain we just recently experienced. I finally managed to get a roof cleaning on the GoPro uploaded on YouTube and figured I would share. This included a gutter brightening immediately after. First time trying the gutter grenade and very happy with those results as well.

That's AWESOME! Hopefully next year I can start doing roofs. I haven't seen anyone in my area that does it. Nice work

Thanks Andrew. I'm putting this out there with the big boys to see. A bit unnerving. I had some good teachers from this very place though. It's a wealth of knowledge here.

Sounds like there is a real opportunity there for you NOW. At least start a marketing plan while getting the equipment together then move in strong when you do. It's a rewarding service in what it gives to the customer.

I have SO much to learn yet. I've gotta get insured, then I need to get the equipment together. Ill keep studying though and get an idea of how to approach it. Been looking at the info on the shoes. My biggest hurdle: how to get up to the higher level houses, which is probably where most of the $$$ is...

Great work one tip of advice start at the bottom of the roof line.Spray all you can down low with the fan tip.Once that lower part is done switch tips an shoot high to the roof line as it runs down it will blend with the bottom part that you did before. That way it will reduce chemical use an you will never spray down toward the landscape. If the wind ever gets up while you have that spray down like that it can carry it down to the grass.Again that's great you have all your stuff ready to clean roofs.

This is really a weird title to this thread.

The worst part is I actually clicked on it but I didn't watch the video.

I know I always come off as the grumpy one, but.... I can see why so many talk about the need for a ground guy or someone watering plants and bushes. You are spraying over the roof line and into the yard. Pop out the tip and spray a trickle around the edges and let it run down. I would be throwing bricks at my guys if they sprayed a roof like that.

That's a good idea actually William. No worries. Watering did occur as explained. Brightened the gutters and rinsed the house right after drenching the landscaping at the same time. Evenso, pulling the tip sounds good.
