No sure if it is because you are in the pan handle or not. I have been cleaning properties for 3 years, been living here for 6 and have not seen more than one deck. Most our lanai's.

Not many wood decks here at all. Mostly composite. The only wood I've cleaned is fences and docks.

We clean lots of decks up here. Every other house has a back deck here.

I have been searching for how to clean a 1 year old wood deck from dirt and mild algae buildup prior to staining or painting (I live on the southern coast). There is a contractor who is going to stain the deck but first the client wanted her treated wood deck and patio cleaned to prep for staining. There are no current stains or paints on the deck. From what I read, downstream f10, let dwell 5-10 minutes then downstream f8 and rinse... is this correct? and is there 10% chlorine used in any of these mixes? I can't get my hands on 12.5%. Thanks. p.s. I dont have an xjet yet, just a 4gm pressure washer with downstream injector. Thanks!!!!
