    Vertical hotbox ?

I just purchased a vertical hot box for my open trailer. My question is how concern should I be about rain falling into the opening on top?

Enough to cover it when not in use.Rain gets on the insulation an over time will cause premature wear an you will be putting new insulation in.Not fun at all.

One more question. I have a 8 gpm / 115 v hot box. What would be the smallest generator ( watt / amp) that would run the hot box?

Do you know what the max temp is for those hot boxes? I was considering getting one myself but didn't know how they compare to other hot water machines.

Hydro, I think it goes up to 220-230, not exactly sure, and it is raining like hell right now. It is parked in a detached garage.

Kilo, it is a pressure pro 8gpm. Not sure of any other specs.

I would like to know if a Honda or Yamaha 2000watt generator would run the hotbox. Or any other recommendations on a similar size.
