Hello everyone,
Thank you in advance for your help. I've been doing tons of research before I start a residential project. I'd eventually like to do roofs as well. I'm a part-timer for now. Small homeowner rig till I can afford another. 2800 psi, 2.3gmp (LOL).
Just want to clarify my house mix and get a better understanding. Seems like the standard house mix is 2 gallons SH (I'm using 10%), 3 gallon H2O, 5 oz Elemonator (simple cherry as an alternative), maybe a dash of dawn or gain. I have a 10:1 general pump downstream injector. Are these calculations correct? If so, then I only have .4% SH hitting the surface??? Here is the calculation:
2 gallons in 5 gallon pail = 40% solution in the 5 gallon bucket X 10% pool bleach solution= 4% actual SH / 10 for the injector =.4% hitting house
It would take full strength at 10:1 to get 1%, correct?
I have read here and on other forums that you need at least1% SH to kill mold on siding. (2%-3% if you want to go faster) and 3-5% on asphalt shingles.
Any comments on my calculation and question?
Thanks,
Guy Holt
