Yes.  Also, your pump GPM will never drop unless your motor slows, your belt slips, or your unloader opens.  When you reduce the orifice, the pressure GPM stays constant, the pressure rises.

Did you mean, the GPM stays constant, and the pressure rises?

Thanks Mike!! Great chart best one I've seen yet. I printed it and laminated it to keep in the tool box. Thanks
My machine is a Landa 3500psi 9gpm when I want to drop the GPM I use smaller nozzle and open chem injector
knob keeps psi down and lowers gpm or so the guy at the store said. I think it works??dh

Question: So if I am pumping 3000 psi and 4gpm, if I used a nozzle for that setting I would be pushing 3000 psi/4gpm. Will getting a larger diameter nozzle lower my Psi and still keep my gpm's?

Yes.  Just like I said above, your pump GPM will never drop unless your motor slows, your belt slips, or your unloader opens.  When you increase the orifice, the GPM stays constant, the pressure drops.

That's how we adjust pressure AND maximize flow.  The knob on the unloader is just to fool newbies!

Interesting...If I go by the chart, I need a 5.0-5.5. If I go by the math formula, I need a 6.0.  Hmmm.
3000/4.5 pump GP T2011.
I assume you devide by 2 for a 2 arm surface cleaner? So I guess I'd want 2.5-3.0's??
