I'll take that into consideration next time. The finish on my poor truck is shot from too many times of HW overspray. I wet it down when I see HW getting on it but I don't catch it everytime. You can rub your hand across the hood and it feels like sandpaper  :D

Barry,
Go to an auto parts store and get a clay bar.
Follow the directions, wash the truck after you clay and apply a couple of coats of wax.

This should help remove the impurities from the paint and help with the rough feel.

I agree about the claybar. That stuff has taken off all kinds of overspray, Boxite from aluminum plants that sticks like paint, etc... Just follow the directions and then wax the vehicle. If you polished after using the claybar, it would look fantastic.

I will try mixing my prodigy differently but I have not been happy with it and am just trying to burn through it so I can try other soaps.  I have tried mixing it with other soaps and just not getting the results I expected.  I have mixed doubled the amount in the directions and still not happy.  The trucks I am washing vary from little dirtto bug covered.  Are you using heat when you use the prodigy?
