-7 here with a -29 wind chill

We have had far to much snow this year, would of been worth it to be in the plowing business this winter.  But it is kinda weird to see Alabama getting that much snow, and when we get it here it is nothing.  Though with people down there they probably don't know how to handle driving in the snow, not to mention they probably have very few if any road clearing vehicles.

I sure wish global warming would kick in, cause it is to damn cold.

We're getting snow here too!! Weather statement says "considerable accumulation" (translates into 1-3" for us) LOL

As they say around here...  Winter came and went in one day.  People here simply freak out at the snow.  We had 1/2", NONE on the streets, and business were shut down!  If it had happened during the week, I'm sure the schools would have closed.  Everyone flocked to the grocery stores to stock up for the "Winter Storm '08".  It's so funny.

A good false alarm every now and then spikes the local economy.
I'm sure the local grocery store counts on a couple of hurricane watches a year.
