PT Dock W/Slate Grey

Here is a job i just found that we worked on last year that was stained in BGA Slate Gray.

This is the boom we put out to clean up and anything that gets in the water.

I appreciate the that very much man! :yes: I just like showing the dramatic transformation of how you can make ugly PT wood look so much better with a nice pigmented stain!

Shane,
I really like that job.  From that distance it kind of looks like aged ipe.  It seems like that would be a good option for those that say they like the aged grey look.  Can you still see the grain in the wood with this stain? Have any close-up pics?

I agree----that's one of your most beautiful jobs IMO.  That, and the "taupe"....I liked that.  And all the cedar darks.   That grey is perfect---and it is tough to find a nice grey.

How does that little boom work?  Does it just draw all the chemicals to it?
