Small but powerful steps in establishing a foothold in the Carolinas is taking place again this week. Since the airing and publication of our meeting with the media in an effort to let the public know (a) how important our industry is to our areas (b) point out that we have been water conservationists long before anyone noticed water supplies were dwindling and (c) THAT PRESSURE WASHING IS NOT BANNED IN NORTH CAROLINA, we have now been successful in having yet another television station and newspaper correct their wording from phrases such as "pressure washing was banned" or "the ban on pressure washing" (both of which are inaccurate at best and very misleading to those who pay attention to the news). Writers have been strongly encouraged to use more appropriate phrasing such as "municipal or drinking water is not allowed for pressure washing use".
Score 2 more for the home team!!
If you are a contractor in the States of North or South Carolina, please join us in this movement! We are growing daily and receiving support across our states! We are arranging more face-to-face meetings before the end of March, conference calling will begin within the week and more "press-worthy" activities will hit the news again by month end. Mail and email campaigns are also being coordinated.
