Anyone care to play lets price the Log home? 

Here's the specs....

Log Exterior 2,231 sq ft (already accouting for a +15% to sq footage)
Decking Horizontals 1192 Sq Ft
Railing 124 Lin Ft
Underside of porch 400 Sq Ft

Strip, Brighten, Borate, Buff and Seal (TWP100/200 or similar)

I guess Im wanting to confirm my pricing structure on these too in a sense.  Hate leaving money on the table

...First off, I have an "eyeball measuring" technique that I refer to as "units" rather than "sf".  For instance, that shed dormer's sides may only be 100sf or so, but they'll be the hardest 100sf you've ever done.  So something has to give.  So looking at your pics, my measurement was about 1000sf/units more than yours.....meaning, I'd be bidding it as if there were 3200sf/units.  Same for front dormers, very hard to do.  I get a minute or two here I'm PM you on price

Haha... know whatcha mean.  I do it the same but I just up the cost per sq ft and call it PITA factor    I finished up the bid on this tonight so we can deliver it Saturday.  I figure about 6 days start to finish with 2 to 3 guys.
