Oh, and throw that pump-up in the trash where it belongs and buy a Deck Bandit.

Kind of like they say, for professional results, you need professional equipment, knowledge and skills. I thought everyone that applied stain uses airless, pads, rollers, brushes or the new Deck Bandit....Did not know that anyone could get good results from using a pupm up sprayer...Think that might waste a lot of stain or might not cover evenly????

Dave....could you please post this on this thread?  http://www.thegrimescene.com/forums/kitchen-exhaust-hood-cleaning/13340-home-made-pump-up-foamer-4.html#post131303

Plastic pump up sprayers are dangerous...it's just a good thing you didn't have some acid or something in there.  Talk about being "tore up"

Yeah they suck im gonna make me a sprayer for the time being with a sureflow pump. Its cost effeicent and could knock out the few jobs I got so I can male some money to get a deckster or bandit. I know alot of you will say go ahead and get one but im tryin to be smart and make some money doing decks before so the money I make will pay for it. I have a apartment complex coming up and they are buying the stain and its a solid I was planning on getting a sprayer then, but where its a solid wouldnt it be hard on a sprayer system? I thought of using a pad they are only 70 square feet a piece. I just dont know if I would wanna run a solid stain through a new system what do you guys think?
