Armstrong Rustic Brown
« on: July 11, 2008, 05:01:12 PM »
Here are some completed pics of a little cabin we stained w/ ArmstrongClark rustic brown semi-trans.  Everyone liked using it, said it was very user friendly (compared favorably to TWP in that regard).  I'd like to thank Jake for sending me the samples to try, this seems to be a quality product with a definite use for us.

Do you like that color, John??  You have many clients that like something that dark?  This is the darkest stain I've used in years, which is a nice change of pace.  And we are doing another house with AC Rustic Brown next week.  Anything other than a cedarish-gold color!!!  Last year we did a job w/ Permachink 'bronze', decks in WTW Red Cedar (on cedar), and medium Grey chinking.  That combo was probably my fav we've done in a while!  This dark brown is nice too.

I personally like the color, looks like it would blend well in a forest so people can't see your house. It would also work out well with those houses that haven't been stained in 25 years that take on a dark appearance no matter what color of stain you put on it.
