Anyone tried this Chemical?
« on: February 02, 2009, 08:48:57 PM »
I have tried alot of different companies chemicals to remove Effloroscence. I want to know whether anyone out there has bought the Efflorescence Remover from a company called : Eco-Wares. Their website is www.Eco-Wares.com . If you have, how did it work out for you? I am not impressed with alot of other companies Efflorescence Remover. Hugh

I do not remember the price but it is good stuff.

I have had great luck with all the products I have tried.

If you have problems with the products, give Mike or Lynn a call, sometimes it is as simple as the application method or not enough dwell time or needing a second application.

I have come across a few Uncleanable surfaces that have been neglected for over 20 years and not much you can do about them unfortunately without spending a fortune (more than the property owner will spend to have it cleaned, so it is uncleanable in their eyes based on price).

Chris I have tried alot of their products. I first spoke to Mike and he explained to me how to apply the first chemical. When it didn't work he had me buy another chemical. When that one didn't work he had me by a third chemical from them. Believe it or not it didn't work either, not even using them in combination. I will admit, alot of the efflorence came off but there still was alot left on the brick even after doing everything Mike told me to do. You can say I got tired of spending all the money on those chemical, because as you know they are not cheap. I think I will try a different company, maybe buying only 5-gal to see if they will work better. I will let you know. Thanks for the communications! Hugh

Did you send him pictures so he could see what you are talking about?

It might not have been efflorescence, It could have been white scum, lime bleed, salt bleed, or some other things out there.

Send him some pics and maybe he can help more.

I would try Prosoco next but I have had uncleanable surfaces where both company's chems did not work, I know how you feel!

Good luck!
