Chem ex was one of the first 2 step machines for 2 step truck washing that used the chemical induction before the pump.When soap is applied at high pressure one it soaps the surface faster two it aggitates the dirt much more than low pressure.Like the above post said on most chemicals you can prolong the pump life by rinsing the pumps will break down but its not gonna be overnight.My friend still runs the chemex machines an rebuilds every couple of years uses machines at least 4 days a week.
