[img]I do a stencil demo in place where they will see it everyday.

If you don't land the job right away, at least when they see the demo that you performed  and you will be on their mind

That's cool advertising!
I always do the walkway from the driveway to the front door steps with a house wash.  When the HO sees it I normally get the driveway as well.  It only takes a few minutes and it better than saying "hey we do concrete too".

Has that ever ticked off a customer by doing the sidewalk without asking?  I would think that if someone really couldn't afford to get their driveway done they might be mad that there is such a big difference in the two.

I always include the front walkway with a housewash but I do let the homeowner know and give them the option of doing it or not if they have not requested the driveway to be cleaned..it has persuaded many to go ahead and have the drive done as well

Hahaha what a great way to advertise!

Just a newbie question for you washers, when doing concrete driveways and walks are you using hot water or cold with your s/c?  Just wondering.

Are you saying s/c as in simple cherry?   I use hot water now.  Don't have to use chemicals very much with it.  A good concrete cleaner is F18.  Sodium Hydoxide based I believe.  If you use cold water you'll just have to use concrete cleaner or degreaser more often and/or stronger.  If a driveway is not bad, I don't even turn on the hot water.  Just wasting desiel.
