Topic: Feedback about Orlando Pressure Washing Convention in October

I WIL be going. Bought tickets, booked room and flight yesterday. Only been in the business for two years and I know that it will definately be worth the tax deduction....I mean money invested.  Money isn't really an issue but I am a tight a$$ so I've decided to pick up as much side work as I can between now and then to make myself feel better.  Most of it is just little piddly stuff (like helping people move) off Craigslist that only pays 10/hr but I figure a couple evenings a week will add for the next 7 weels.  Hope everybody gets to come.  Can't wait to see what's in store!

Me and Kathy will be there. For us its like a break where we also get to learn a few things and meet some great people in this industry. The things you pick up at these conventions are amazing. The contacts you make can last many many years. We are so looking forward to this. Where just trying to figure how where going to take that Hydrotek Skid home after we win it....In my dreams:)  Oh yea I think the skid will be delivered to the winners home.....How sweet is that.

The cost is main thing.
Just bought a new hydro tek, going into winter,
 COST
rooms 100 plus tax  per night, fee 250 or 300, resort food$$$, resort golf , drinking, entertainment......

12 hr drive that's from Nashville, I just glad I don't live up east or chicago......


Some say use it as a vacation......sorry its not a vacation in my eyes.  IF i come to this it will be all business.  With the cost, its hard to justify going without the wife.  Bringing my wife would be out of the question.  I want to learn and not worry about making reservations to some place to eat meeting her to do something ect. 
Networking into the wee hours of the night is what I would want to do.....
She would not be happy if I brought her and deserted her.

To me I would like to see this at a cheaper location,city, and a more central location.  Having some more reserve would be nice too......
