Stop trash talking somebody just because they do stuff cheap and they dont do a good job.Everybody just wash the best they can and if you wanna go broke washing trucks for 10 bucks a piece go for it?
Companies operating at this level force prices down and expectations down, decreasing the opportunity for all of us. That's good for their business, but when the threshold drops below is below everyone's margin of profitability, it's just destructive to the industry. In the case of fleetwash, they sell franchises and aren't all that concerned with profitability on service as their money is made on the sale of the franchise. If one franchisee goes broke, they will just sell his area again. In that respect, it actually pays for franchisees to operate on the ragged edge of profitability so they can turn the area every few years.
And all that ignores the image of our industry that's presented when customers see homeless guys working their jobs. Next time your customer bites on a $79 ad, it's partially because they expect to get crap so they are only willing to pay crap.
