Question for the guys that do car lots

Have any of you ever used borax as a water softner? Im saving my money up to install a ionizer but til then would like to use something else.

A man with a wipe down rag will do the same and alot cheaper also.

Oh yeah arent the black cars some much fun.I did the car lot thing for a bit,fast wash however the car lot manager wanted them done on his schedule not mine we parted ways good work though.

Clif @ Eagle water in Durham NC. Has some water filters and tanks to filter the hard water so it is a spot free rinse when it is all said and done I love it.

We are currently using a DI tank. But are looking in to an RO system so we can store water. The system we are looking at will produce 4000 gallons a day.
