At the very least, I will fashion some sort of heat shield to prevent this from happening again.


That's much to small of a gap for a heat shield.  Flip that PW around so the gases vent in the opposite direction.

I just realized that I had dilemma spelled wrong in the title. I changed it... I knew something just didn't look right.
