Didn't want to spend $300 on a Cox type supply reel. If I can get 2 seasons out of a $100 300' supply reel it's a descent investment.
Anybody use a supply reel like this??http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_200335182_200335182I need to hold about 300' of supply hose. Any downfalls to a unit like this? I will be using a 230 gal. buffer tank.
If you are just doing residential use as short a run as possible. 100' maybe. Hall that hose creates friction lose which cuts down on the water coming to you.
Tom just curious why so much supply hose?

You WONT be disappointed. Plus - it is on sale! http://www.pressuretek.com/coxchallenger.html
I use pressure reels because they last longer. ... Reduce friction loss wherever you can.
I'm going to be using a 230gallon buffer tank, so I doubt hose friction would be a problem.
