I just happen to have a sludge sucker, those things are amazing.  Talk about a water canon!  My problem will be bringing an auxillary tank to refill the plumbed in tank, there isn't exactly enough room on the truck for 2 400 gallon tanks.  Hmmmm... something to think about for sure!

If this is something you would be doing on a weekly basis then leave the other tank there. that way you only have to transport it once

Leaving it there would be ideal, but this will be a parking lot outside of an automobile factory.  I have a pretty strong feeling that if it didn't dissapear it would get damaged in nothing flat.

Whenever I hear a customer use a term like "just a quick rinse off", I have learned to run the other way.

Translation: That's all I am willing to pay for but I will actually break your stones for a lot more.

In a way you are right Ken but this is quickly becoming the standard and if this guy or gal has been in the car industry long enough they are well aware of it.

I would ask to set up a tank (with float valve) on their property. I would then use their water supply to keep the tank full. Then run your hose line to the tank. Use a vertical tank so the gravity will help with the long hose line. Their water supply (gpm) would never be an issue.

what about bringing the extra tank on a small trailer.  You said you didn't have room on the truck.  so I would assume you have everything set up on a truck and not trailer.  I don't recommend leaving a tank there, I think it would get damaged or stolen.  Or they might have liablity issues they don't want to get into.

search craigs list for a tote tank and leave it there with a float valve as mentioned before. Inform them that is the only you will be able to do these for that price and you will be lucky to get 1.00 in my opinion. It will take you less than 30 seconds per car, if your only doing the hood, roof, and trunk. Get a guy you trust, pay 10-15 per hour and leave this to him every time you wash them.
