William how do you not get into trouble knocking on doors? Do you still knock on doors that have no soliciting on the entrance of the subdivision?
If there is a no soliciting sign I stay away. Those are few and far between around here. I did knock some doors in Tenn one year and a lady asked to see my solicitation license. Haven't knocked doors there anymore

I was supossed to be in Tenn now washing apartments but the weather pushed me back a couple of weeks. I was called some property managers here and scraped up a couple of weeks of work to fill in the gap unitl I leave week after next. If you can get at least one homeowner to let you wash their house, even if it is for free and the neighbors here your machines running and you tell them you are washing their neighbors house, you can always get at least one house for every 20 doors you hit. I just walk the neighborhood knocking doors and beep up the guys and tell them which house to go to next. Knocking doors for one hour equals a full day of work for a crew. I like the 1500 sq foot house neighborhoods where you can wash a house in 15 minutes for a hundred bucks. I'll do those all day long. Y'all can keep the big houses with picky homeowners.
