Are there any decent campgrounds near Lexington? I was thinking I could save some money and enjoy KY spring weather at the same time by throwing the tent in the truck and heading down for the roundtable

The horse park is about 30 mins away.  Really nice.  The bad thing is they are having the Rolex 3 day event that weekend.  check for availability.  Boonesboro state park is about 15 mins away through the county....nice too.

I'm not sure of my mode of transport at this time, but with the new "Discounted Flat Rate Shipping" why wait till April to get what you need.
